Murals in Northern Ireland

Murals in Northern Ireland have an international reputation and have often been flashed across television screens around the world to highlight a news story here. Indeed many of them have become iconic images of the 'Troubles'. We work closely with councils, agencies and communities to produce large public artworks, sometimes replacing these old paramilitary murals or creating new ones from scratch.. For the last few years we have been heavily involved in Arts Council N.I.s 'Re-Imaging the Communities Programme' facilitating projects in Derry, Portadown, Lurgan, Craigavon, Lisburn and Belfast. Engaging directly with stakeholders in the community is paramount to the success of any project as we aim to not only leave behind a creative legacy but also a sense of ownership as well as cultural and civic pride. We employ some of the best mural artists in Northern Ireland to produce these art works using both traditional painting techniques or more contemporary style graffiti art.

Our Artists

Re-Ink-Our-Nation use some of the best mural artists in Northern Ireland to travel throughout the country to provide unique, and tailored programmes for a broad cross-section of groups. All of our crew have many years of experience delivering workshops or doing corporate events. Each artist has a current Access N.I. police check for working with young people and most have the Republic of Ireland equivalent Garda vetting certificate as well as 3rd party public liability insurance up to £5m each. Many great artists are not great social communicators. We pride ourselves on our artists' ability to engage with people to bring them to their full potential.

Workshops, Advertising, Live Demonstrations and Corporate Events

We can provide graffiti art for P.R.events, corporate team building days and at festivals and promotions. We offer the chance of allowing guests or staff to participate in an art form that most won't have ready access to or to simply watch our crew at work promoting your corporate event. We use can use 'reverse graffiti' or 'street bleaching' as it is sometimes known to promote your business or event. This is relatively new to Ireland North and South and involves creating temporary images or text on walls and surfaces by removing controlled amounts of dirt and grime. We use a combination of stencils, powerhoses and our own environmentally friendly, bio-degradable organic 'bleach'. This is a very contemporary form of guerilla advertising that reaches consumers in a unique and unconventional way. The results can last for months depending on the surface and weather.

Graffiti and urban art in general are becoming more mainstream, being the driving force behind advertising campaigns, music and fashion. Producing large art works in a short space of time ensures that your product or service will attract attention and be a real talking point.
