Caricatures created from photographs make excellent gifts for retirements, birthdays, anniversaries etc. The possibilities are endless. Each piece is a unique, hand-drawn original piece of art. Normally we work from 4 or 5 good quality 'head shots' and require a short biog. of the person to be caricatured. This might include hobbies or interests, good or bad habits, likes or dislikes. The more that we have to work with then the more we can put into the artwork. We build up the background, the props and the pose this way and send you the rough drafts for your approval before we proceed with the colour and tones. This way there will be no shocks upon receipt of your art work. Unframed caricatures normally take 10 days from receipt of the photos although we can do quicker turnarounds on request. All of our artworks are created using permanent inks on Bristol Board which is more rigid and durable than paper. The finished works can be highly detailed. Our artists can create staff teams, sports teams etc. for places of work or clubhouses. Caricatures are an original, humorous gift idea that will get people talking. We can be as cruel or as kind as you wish. We can take years off the ladies and put years on the men.
